What are Monster Credits?

Monster Credits are included in your Monster Pro Plan, and align with your monthly subscription amount (£99), 1 credit = £1, and expire monthly. Think of Monster Credits like currency that you can leverage to cover the costs incurred when someone clicks on your job adverts or when you view or contact a candidate in our CV database.

If you don’t have enough credits to cover your costs for a given month, we’ll bill your payment method on file for the remainder of what you owe. You can track your Monster Credits in near-real time and we’ll also send you an email when you are getting low so you can make any necessary adjustments.

If you’re searching within our candidate database, one view or contact equals two credits (£2). With job adverts, you won’t spend more than your allocated budget for the time-period specified, but there may be fluctuations per day where our platform may spend less or more than the daily budget for that day in order to drive the most performance for you.

With Monster+ Free, your free job listing can receive up to 3 candidates. With Standard and Pro, you can receive an unlimited amount of candidates, so The sky’s the limit for the duration of your advert.

How Promoting a Job Works

We’ll only consume your daily average budget when candidates view, click, or apply to your job advert. The cost-per-click will vary based on several factors, including opportunities to maximize visibility, as well as candidate views, clicks, and applies. However, you will never be charged beyond the total spend indicated through your promotion selection.​

Yes, you can change your plan at any time for Monster+ Pro and Monster+ Standard.

For Monster+ Standard, once the status of all jobs is expired or closed, you will not incur any additional charges. If you would like to upgrade and access our expansive resume database or collaborate with additional teammates, you can upgrade at any time to the Monster+ Pro plan directly from your Monster+ Standard dashboard.

Monster+ Pro is a monthly subscription. To cancel your subscription, you can easily switch to the Monster+ Standard Plan. Your Monster+ Pro Plan will stay in effect until your current plan period ends, and there will be no interruption to your current job promotions – they will continue generating views and applies. After your current plan period ends, you will no longer be charged a monthly fee.

For Monster+ Standard, you will choose your daily budget and only pay when a candidate clicks/taps to view your job ad, or clicks on the apply button.

For Monster+ Pro, you will have a monthly subscription which includes Monster Credits. Use Monster Credits to cover job promotion charges. You can also use Monster Credits to proactively search and engage candidates in our CV database.

For both plans, your daily budget is the average you’ll spend per day over the course of a month, if you run your job for an entire calendar month. Your actual daily spend will vary, depending on the number of job views, applies and distribution opportunities. We will strive to maximize visibility of your job to help you fill your job quickly, and when your job is shown more often, your cost on any one day might be up to twice the average daily budget selected. However, you will not be charged more than your total budget (average daily budget x promotion duration).

Monster Credits are included as part of your monthly Monster+ Pro Plan. They are applied to your selected daily average budget and can be used to proactively search and contact candidates in our CV database.
