Master the Job Description
Every recruiter writes their job postings differently, but they all have the same goals in mind. They want to create a job description that stands out from the competition and sells prospects on the position. It sounds easy enough, but a lot of recruiters are still looking for tips on how to master the job ad. Luckily, Monster makes it easy by providing an outline in the job posting process. Read on to see how you can craft each section to engage qualified candidates and encourage them to apply.
Consider this section your pitch. Briefly introduce your company, describe what you do, and tell candidates why they want to work there.
Here’s an example:
Are you fueled by challenges? Enjoy working in an environment surrounded by innovation? Excited about promoting eco-friendly products that can transform the future? Are you a Marketing Manager looking to be on the frontlines of this change? Then this may be the opportunity for you. Our mission goes beyond the bottom line and we are dedicated to improving the quality of life in a substantial and sustainable way. If you want to play a vital role in making it all happen, please read on for further information.
This section should be a bulleted list that outlines what the person in this role will do.

- Seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximize all opportunities for growth.
- Think creatively to drive innovative ideas in collaboration with each sector
- Create digital marketing plans for product launches and events.
Did you Know?

- Describe your ideal candidate

- Separate requirements and preferences:
- Requirements are must-haves and candidates can’t get the job without them.
- Preferences are a wish list of qualifications that aren’t required for consideration but will give candidates an advantage.
